These terms govern your use of planet5media.com and any purchase you make from Planet 5. By placing an order or using the site, you agree to them. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Returns & Refunds policy.

Our Products

We sell fine art photography prints, many produced as limited editions. Every print is made to order on archival materials and finished to museum standards. Because each piece is produced for you after purchase, please choose your size and finish with care. Limited edition pieces are released in a fixed quantity, and once an edition sells out it is retired.

We work to show colors and detail accurately, but screens render color in light and prints render it in ink, so a piece may read a little differently in your room than on your monitor. This is a normal characteristic of printed art and is not a defect.

Pricing and Payment

Prices are shown in United States dollars and may change over time. We make every effort to display pricing accurately. If we discover an error in the price of an item you ordered, we will contact you before processing the order. Payment is handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and we do not store full card details on our servers.

Orders and Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline an order, and we may cancel an order and issue a full refund if an item is unavailable, a pricing error occurred, or we are unable to fulfill it. A confirmation email means we have received your order, not that a contract is final until the order is accepted and produced.

Shipping and Returns

Production, delivery timing, and shipping costs are described in our Shipping Policy. Your options if a piece is not right, or arrives damaged, are described in our Returns & Refunds policy, including a 30-day satisfaction guarantee.

Intellectual Property

All photography, images, text, and designs on this site are the property of Planet 5 and its photographers and are protected by copyright. Purchasing a print grants you ownership of the physical artwork for personal display. It does not transfer copyright or any right to reproduce, resell at scale, or use the image commercially. Please do not copy or redistribute our images without written permission.

Authenticity and Preservation

Limited edition prints are produced in a stated edition size, and we keep records of each edition. A portion of every purchase funds mountain preservation, which is core to who we are as a company.

Limitation of Liability

The site and our products are provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planet 5 is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or a product. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection law, and our liability for a defective product is addressed by our returns and replacement policy.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to these terms or a purchase will be handled in the appropriate courts located in Wyoming.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
