Social Media Policy

You may NOT share, repost, or use our images on social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, or any other platform.

Exception: You may share our official posts using the platform's native share/repost function (e.g., Instagram Stories share, Facebook share, retweet) which links back to our original content. Direct downloading and re-uploading is never permitted.

Press & Media

Journalists, bloggers, and media professionals must obtain written permission before using any Planet 5 Media images in editorial content. We do not provide complimentary editorial licenses. All media usage requires a licensing agreement.

Interior Designers & Commercial Buyers

The purchase of physical artwork for commercial spaces (offices, hotels, restaurants, healthcare facilities, etc.) grants display rights for that specific physical print only. It does not grant:

• Rights to photograph the artwork for marketing purposes
• Rights to include the artwork in promotional photography
• Rights to reproduce the image in any format
• Rights to use images of the installed artwork in advertising

Commercial clients wishing to photograph installed artwork for their marketing must obtain a separate license. Contact licensing@planet5media.com for commercial photography rights.

Right-Click & Screenshot Protection

Technical measures to prevent downloading do not affect your legal obligations. Even if you are able to save, screenshot, or capture an image through any means, you are not authorized to do so and remain liable for infringement.

Embedded Metadata & Tracking

All images contain embedded copyright metadata, invisible watermarks, and digital fingerprints. This information is used for tracking and enforcement purposes. Removal or alteration of metadata constitutes a separate violation under 17 U.S.C. § 1202 and may result in additional damages of $2,500 to $25,000 per violation.

Enforcement & Legal

Infringement Consequences

Planet 5 Media LLC actively monitors the internet for unauthorized use of its copyrighted works using automated detection systems and professional monitoring services.

Unauthorized use will result in:

1. Immediate Takedown Demand: Cease and desist notice requiring immediate removal
2. Retroactive Licensing Invoice: Billing at 3x our standard commercial licensing rate for the period of unauthorized use
3. Legal Action: If not resolved, we will pursue litigation seeking:
   • Actual damages or statutory damages up to $150,000 per work
   • Disgorgement of profits attributable to the infringement
   • Attorney's fees and costs
   • Permanent injunction

We do not negotiate with infringers. We do not accept excuses. We do not provide warnings before invoicing. If you have used our images without permission, you will be billed and/or sued.

Notice: "I didn't know" or "I found it on Google" are not legal defenses to copyright infringement. If you did not receive written permission from Planet 5 Media LLC, you do not have permission.

DMCA Takedown Procedure

If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed upon on our website, please provide written notice containing:

• Your physical or electronic signature
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material to be removed with sufficient information to locate it
• Your contact information (address, telephone number, email)
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Governing Law

This policy and all matters relating to copyright infringement shall be governed by the laws of the United States and the state of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Colorado.
